Formed in July 2023, Highland Grove began as an intimate folk duo with singer-songwriters Nate Dean and Emma Kruman. In 2025, the band expanded into a full ensemble with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Kaden Campbell and drummer Sam Harkelroad. With this new lineup, the group embraced a more collaborative identity under the name Highland Grove & Co.
