Come test your speed at the Deer Run Block Party’s Whoopie Pie Eating Contest at Deer Run Park, Millersburg on Friday, October 10.

How it works

  • Mini pies only so it is fun for all ages.

  • You compete in your age group first.

  • Winners of each group advance to the Grand Final for the overall champion.

  • First to finish all pies with hands in the air and show an empty mouth wins the round.

  • Sign up using the form below.

Age groups

  • Kids: 6–12

  • Teens: 13–17

  • Adults: 18-59

  • Masters: 60+

(If sign-ups are light in any group, we may combine divisions.)

Schedule

  • Sign-in at the info tent when you arrive.

  • Heats by age group: scheduled between music sets at the Timothy Baker Amphitheater. Check schedule for details.

Exact times will be posted on social media the week of the event, available at the info booth, and announced from the amphitheater stage.

When is the contest?
The contest will be in the evening at the Timothy Baker Amphitheater between music sets. Exact times will be posted on social media the week of the event and announced from the main stage. Rounds will be in order of age group, starting with kids and ending with a face-off between finalists from each age group.

Can I bring my own whoopie pies?
No. We supply identical mini pies for fairness.

Can my child enter with a parent nearby?
Yes. A parent or guardian must be present for Kids and Teens.

What if I need to withdraw?
Please tell the Info Tent so we can fill your spot from the standby list.

When should I arrive?
Sign in at the info tent at least 30 minutes before the contest.

What happens in bad weather?
This event is fair-weather only. Watch our social media page and this site for updates.
